Year 13 Business Students organised a Children In Need Event raising £391.66. They asked local business to donate resources and prizes for the event. They ran a home made cake stall, organised charity bingo games, a raffle and live entertainment from talented students in Post 16. The event was part of their Business coursework. Students involved were John Cleghorn, Joshua Naylor, Katie Fairbrother, Deepa Mistry, Ben Ratcliffe, Heather Jackson, Steph Watts and Laura Silverwood. The day was a massive triumph and I would like to thank them all for doing such a good job! Well done to everyone for helping to make the day a success! Miss Wood, Teacher of Business
Saturday 7th July 2007 saw the eagerly anticipated arrival of Earthquake in Queensbury School. The day used the scenario of an earthquake to stage a series of family learning opportunities to engage families in the process of family learning, and it was hugely successful.
